The game has a 5×3 reel structure with 21 pay lines. Betting range is quite small, from £0.25 – £25, which is lower than other slots. However, the 9,000x max win makes up for lower stakes. RTP sits at 96.17% with medium volatility. So, you should see regular smallish wins. As with all classic fishing slots, All About the Bass has a fish collection bonus feature.
How To Play All About the Bass Free Demo Slot
The fishing theme for All About the Bass is a serene lake with quirky fishermen in boats, sitting above the reels. Lurking below the reels are prized bass fish that swim from right to left via the Prize Stream mechanism. They can carry cash values or win multipliers. To play this slot game, follow these steps;
- Setting Your Bet: Start by adjusting your bet, from £0.25 to £25 per spin.
- Reels & Paylines: There are in total 21 pay lines. Matching symbols across these lines will give you a payout.
- Fish Collection: Keep an eye out for boats and hooks. Landing a boat symbol above a reel with a hook symbol, will trigger a fish collection.
- Triggering the Bonus Game: The All About The Bonus feature is activated by landing three scatter symbols.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
As with most fishing slots, this game features 10 common symbols. However, fish symbols are not one of them and can’t form winning combinations on pay lines. You will need to match 3 of the same symbol on a pay line. Furthermore, matching symbols need to be from the left most reel onwards to generate wins. Common symbols are split into 2 groups:
- Low-Paying Symbols: Baskets, Cans of Worms, Floats, Nets, Hats and Coolers are low paying symbols. Payouts range from 0.08x – 0.4x
- High-Paying Symbols: Four different fishermen are the highest paying symbols. Payouts range from 0.16x – 0.8x.
So, as you can see, payouts are really poor for symbols. Therefore, most of your big wins will come from fish collections and win multipliers.
Special Symbols
There are also three special symbols that can land on the reels: Wild multipliers, Scatters and Hooks.
Wild Symbol
The game features three types of wild symbols a regular wild, a 2x and a 3x wild. Wilds substitute for all common symbols and turn small wins into bigger ones.
Scatter Symbol
Bass trophies are scatter symbols. Landing three scatter symbols across the reels takes you to the All About the Bonus game where big wins await.
Hook Symbol
If a Hook Symbol lands on the same reel as a fishing boat, then you collect the fish at the bottom of the same reel. You can reel in cash values, multiplier wins or instant bonus access.
Fish Collection and Wilds
As mentioned, regular symbol wins are very small. So, fish collection and wild symbols make a big difference. When wild symbols land on the reels, they can carry 2x or 3x multipliers too. If a wild multiplier is involved in a winning combo, then that win will be multiplied. When more than one wild are involved, then all the multipliers are added up and then the wins are multiplied by the total multiplier.
Fish appear below each reel. They can carry cash values from 4x – 960x, win multipliers up to 10x, instant bonus access and collect all. If a fisherman appears above a reel with a multiplier fish, then that fish becomes activated. If a hook doesn’t appear, then the next time the fish move to the left, the multiplier will be increased. This happens continuously when the fish move to next reel and are not collected. When a hook and fishing boat appear simultaneously on the same reel, then the fish below will be collected. When a “Collect All” fish is reeled in, then all fish values under the reels will be collected.
All About the Bonus Game
All About the Bonus is not your typical free spin bonus game. Firstly, there is no bonus buy feature. So, you will need to trigger the bonus organically. This can be done in 2 ways. You can either land 3 scatters symbols on the reels or you can reel in an Instant Bonus fish.
When the bonus round starts you have a 5X4 grid with 20 cash values. Fish multipliers will run up and down the sides of the grid and they carry 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x payout boosts. If they land then they will move across the same row and randomly select a cash value to boost.
Special Bonus Symbols
In addition to cash values, there are also some special bonus modifier symbols that can appear in the grid, during the All About the Bass bonus game:
- Re-trigger Symbol: Increases the number of bonus spins by the value of the multiplier, transforming the symbol into an active cash value.
- Credit Boost: Activates all cash values on the grid, multiplying them by the boost value times the activating multiplier.
- Row and Column Symbols: Activate all positions on their respective row or column with the multiplier value.
- Orthogonal Symbol: Activates closest grid positions in a cross pattern. So, both row and column are boosted.
Bonus rounds conclude when bonus spins run out or if you reach the max win.
All About The Bass 2 Froggy Style
Crazy Tooth Studio has returned to the water with All About the Bass 2: Froggy Style. This is a quirky sequel that brings frogs, crocodiles, and new surprises to the fishing setup. The slot keeps its 5×3 layout and 21 paylines, but now offers a higher max win of 14,744x the bet, 96.09% RTP, and high volatility. The main All About the Bass feature remains matching a boat and hook on the same reel still collects the fish prize below, worth up to 960x the bet. However, two new random features now add more movement and unpredictability to the base game.
Froggy & Crocs
The Froggy Style Feature triggers when Bug Symbols appear. A random frog hops in and transforms each Bug into another symbol type, linked to that frog. It is a quick feature that often create multiple winning combinations in one go. Then you have the Crocodile Feature, where a hungry croc appears and chew up 2 to 5 fish prizes, collecting their values before new ones swim into place.
Bonus Round
The All About the Bonus round returns as well. Triggered by three Scatter Symbols or a special Instant Bonus Fish. It plays out on a grid filled with cash values and multipliers. In this round the frog symbols like the Bull Frog and Tree Frog can spread activations across multiple rows or columns for boosted wins.
Conclusion
All About the Bass 2: Froggy Style keeps the feeling of the first game but makes the action a little livelier. With more random triggers and better visual flow. Overall it feels more dynamic without losing the light-hearted fishing charm that made the original stand out. So it is not a massive overhaul of the slot but the frogs and crocodiles doy make the water less calm and a more fun to fish in.

The sequel adds two new random features called Froggy Style and Crocodile. These makethe gameplay more unpredictable and interactive. Frogs can transform symbols into instant wins, while crocodiles chomp on fish prizes to award their values.
The All About the Bonus round returns with similar mechanics but new frog icons that spread multipliers across multiple rows and columns, creating more dynamic chain reactions and bigger payout potential.
You can win up to 14,744x your bet, which is a big increase compared to the original slots 9,009x max win.
Conclusion
All About the Bass by Crazy Tooth Studio is another addition to a booming fishing slots genre. It is not a bad slot, but it is not a great one either. If you don’t connect any wild multipliers or reel in any fish, then your wins will not be too good. And this leads to boring and disappointing gameplay. However, over 9,000x for a max win has some appeal, and the bonus game is quite unique. So, if you like fishing games, then give this slot a try.
