Winning Combinations & Payouts
Bass Brothers comes with 20 fixed pay lines and pays from left to right, starting on the first reel. To trigger a win, you need 3 or more matching symbols on a line. The base symbols are divided into low-paying and high-paying, with the Wild offering the highest payout on its own.
Low-paying symbols: These are the classic card ranks 9, 10, J, Q, K, A. Pays up to 1.2x your bet for 5-of-a-kind.
High-paying symbols: Bobber, Mayfly, Seagull, Lurebox, Ship. Pays between 2x to 5x for 5-of-a-kind.
Top Symbol is the Paying Wild: The Wild symbol is the best-paying symbol, 5 Wilds on a payline pays 10x your bet. It only appears in the base-game and can substitute for all regular paying symbols.
Special Symbols
Bass Brothers has a solid mix of special symbols. They are what activate the core bonus features and bring the biggest payouts in the game.
Cash Symbols
These symbols come with random values ranging from 0.5x to 7x. Cash symbols are only collected when a Collect symbol appears during the same spin or a Respin feature is triggered. If left uncollected, they are stored in the Bonus Collection, which can later trigger the Bonus Spin feature.
Jackpot Symbols
Bass Brothers includes three fixed jackpots: Minor 10x your bet, Major 50x your bet and Mega 500x your bet.
These symbols behave like cash symbols and are collected the same way by the Collect symbol or the Respin feature.
Collect Symbol
When a Collect symbol lands, it collect all visible Cash and Jackpot symbols from the reels. The value of the collected is boosted by the reel multiplier above the reel where the Collect symbol landed. You can land up to three Collect symbols in a single spin.
Respin Symbol
When this lands it locks all existing Cash, Jackpot, Collect, and Respin symbols on the screen. The remaining reels respin, and continues as long as new symbols that can be locked lands. At the end, the Respin symbol Collect all prizes, boosted by its reel’s multiplier.
WILD Symbol
The Wild symbol substitutes for all regular symbols. It does not replace the Cash, Jackpot, Collect, or Respin symbols. The only appear during the base game.
Bass Brothers Bonus Game & Features
Bass Brothers gameplay is powered by several bonus features that interact with each other. There are reel multipliers, respins and surprise bonus spins. Here is how they work.
Bonus Spin
Even if Cash and Jackpot symbols are not collected, they are not wasted. Instead, they go into a Bonus Collection meter. This stash builds up with every missed prize. Like a prize pot it can trigger on any spin.
- When activated, the game releases a wave of fish cash and jackpot symbols onto the reels.
- You can also land extra collect symbols during a bonus spin for bigger payouts.
- And just like in the base game, reel multipliers still apply if a collect symbol appears under them.
Respin Feature: Lock, Spin & Collect
The Respin feature is one of the best mechanics in Bass Brothers. It is triggered when a yellow fishing reel respin symbol lands anywhere on the reels.
Once activated:
- All cash, jackpot, collect, and respin symbols on the screen lock in place.
- The remaining reels respin, giving you another chance to land more prize symbols.
- As long as cash, jackpot, or collect symbols keep landing, the respins continue.
- You can land up to 2 additional collect symbols during a bonus round, increasing your overall payout.
At the end of the feature:
- The original Respin symbol transforms into a collect symbol.
- This new collect symbol reels in all cash and jackpot values on screen.
- The total prize is then multiplied by the reel multiplier above the reel, where the final collect lands.
Collect Feature
The collect feature triggers during the base game whenever one or more collect symbols land. They appear as fishing reel symbol with a blue background.
Here is how it works:
- A collect symbol gathers all visible cash and jackpot symbols on screen.
- The value of the collected prizes is increased by the multiplier above the reel where the collect landed.
- Each reel multiplier starts at 1x and increases each time a collect symbol lands with no fish in the same reel.
- Once prizes are collected from a reel, then that reel’s multiplier resets back to 1x.
Frequently Asked Questions About Bass Brothers
The RTP for Bass Brothers is 96.02%. This is very much around standard for a high-volatility slot. It provides a solid payout rate for players over the long run.
Each of the five reels has its own multiplier that start at 1x and going up to a max of 10x. If a Collect symbol lands without collecting anything the multiplier for that reel increases by +1x. And vice versa when symbols are collected the reel multiplier resets to 1x.
The Respin! Feature is triggered when a Respin symbol lands on any reel. This locks all collectable symbols on the reels and then triggers re-spins. These continue until no new collectable symbols or collect symbols appear. At the end of the Respin the Respins symbol turns into a Collect symbol and collects all locked symbols, applying the reel multilplier.
There are three fixed jackpots in Bass Brothers: Minor 10x your bet, Major 50x your bet and Mega with 500x your bet. These can be collected just like Cash symbols when a Collect symbol appears.

Conclusion
Bass Brothers add some personality to this increasing genre of slot games. Moreover, this slot comes packed with bonus features. The five brothers above the reels add some fun but also serve a real purpose with the reel multipliers that can result in big wins. We’ve seen these slot mechanics and bonus features play out before on previous released fishing slots. However, Bass Brothers still has a lot of charm to it.
With collect symbols, respins, jackpots, and the surprise bonus spins, this game keeps you hooked. While the max win of 5,300x may not be record-breaking for high-volatility slots, it is still a solid catch. Especially when combined with multiplier potential and bonus features. If you enjoy fishing-themed games, then Bass Brothers is well worth trying for a couple of spins.
