Bucket of Bonus Bass is a fishing slot from High Limit Studio part of Games Global network. It is a follow up on an earlier Bucket of Bass slot, but you get more progression, modifiers and bonus options in it. You get a familiar fisherman collection setup where bass cash symbols with cash values are collected. However, the uncollected symbols also fills the bucket you see beside the reels. When the bucket is full it can trigger a wheel bonus that has five fixed jackpot prizes.
There are also two progression systems called Lucky Levels and Bonus Bass. As you complete more base game spins, these systems unlock Bubble Pop, wheel boosters, extra collect symbols and another free spins feature. So it has more going on than many other fisherman collect slots. However, you must complete up to 250 base game spins to unlock everything. Let us see whether this bucket is worth filling.

The best RTP we have seen is 96.01%, which sits around the average for modern online slots. Unfortunately there is a much lower 94.01% RTP version too. A decent win potential but there are plenty of other new fishing slots that go up to 10,000x or more.
How to Play Bucket of Bonus Bass Demo
Bucket of Bonus Bass starts as a fairly simple fishing slot. However, more features become available as you complete base game spins. This is common with Games Global studios games.
- Select your bet before starting the game, then press the spin button.
- Match at least three identical symbols from left to right for a payline win.
- Bass Cash symbols has cash values, land a fisherman symbol on the same spin to activate collection.
- Any uncollected cash symbols will add progress to the bucket beside the reels.
- Continue to spin base game spins to unlock new Lucky Levels.
- Scatter symbols activate one of the two free spins features.
The standard game begins with Express Collect and Multiplier Free Spins available. However, Bubble Pop unlocks after ten base game spins. Further Lucky Levels become available at 30, 75, 150 and 250 spins. The game thus gradually becomes more feature-heavy. There is no type of ante bet in this slot, but there is a feature buy in versions outside the UK.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
Winning combinations can be made on the 25 fixed paylines. You need at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the first reel.
- High Value symbols: Seagulls, Tackle Boxes, Fishing Rods and Beer Cans. Payouts range from 0.4x – 8x.
- Low Value Symbols: The low-paying symbols use the four familiar card suits. Payouts range from 0.2x – 3x.
Special Symbols
Bucket of Bonus Bass has several special symbols for its collection and bonus features.
Wild Symbol
The wild substitutes for normal paying symbols. Bubble Pop can also add wilds to the reels after you unlock the first Lucky Level.
Bass Cash Symbols
Bass Cash symbols come with cash prizes that are based on your total bet. Uncollected symbols add progress to the bucket beside the reels.
Fisherman Symbol
The fisherman is the collect symbol. The fisherman initially collects from reel 5. However, reaching 75 base game spins adds collect symbols to reel 1 as well.
Scatter Symbol
Scatter symbols activate the free spins features. However, the Sticky Free Spins scatter does not become available until you complete 150 base game spins.
Bucket of Bonus Bass Features
Bucket of Bonus Bass has far more base game features than you are used to see in a fish collect slot. The Lucky Levels are what controls most of these additions. Of course you have the fishing collection as a base, which is called Express Collect. Express Collect activates whenever one or more Bass Cash symbols land with a fisherman symbol. It works in both the base game and can also trigger during free spins.
Lucky Levels
Lucky Levels unlock new modifiers at specific spins completed in the basegame. The first unlock is quite fast as you only need ten base game spins to unlock the Bubble Pop feature. However, reaching the final level requires 250 base game spins, so maybe set your bet accordingly.
| Base Game Spins | Feature Unlocked |
| 10 Spins | Bubble Pop |
| 30 Spins | Bonus Booster Wheel |
| 75 Spins | Collect symbols added to reel 1 |
| 150 Spins | Sticky Free Spins scatter |
| 250 Spins | Guaranteed minimum free spins wins |
The 150 and 250 levels are additions to the free-spins bonus and the three first levels add base mechanics.
- Bubble Pop: Bubble Pop becomes available after ten base game spins. Once unlocked, bubbles can randomly appear across the reels. Each bubble reveals either a wild or Bass Cash symbol. The Bubble Pop feature activates randomly.
- Bonus Booster Wheel: The Bonus Booster Wheel unlocks after 30 base game spins. Boosters can then improve prizes connected to the Wheel Bonus. Note that the booster can increase available wheel values more than once.
- Extra Collect Symbols: At the beginning of the game, fisherman collect symbols mainly appear on reel 5. After 75 base game spins, collect symbols can also land on reel 1.
Bucket and Wheel Bonus
Bass Cash symbols do not disappear when a fisherman fail to land in the same spin. Instead, uncollected symbols add progress to the bucket beside the reels. The bucket can then trigger the wheel bonus that will give one of five fixed payouts. These are fixed jackpot-style prizes that come in the order of Mini, Maxi, Minor, Major and Mega. Note that eweel boosters that you unlocked with lucky levels can improve the payouts.
Bonus Bass Progression
Lucky Levels are not the only progression system. Bucket of Bonus Bass also has a another set of modifiers and symbols that are linked to the bonus bass feature. This progression can add modifiers such as:
- Versus Symbol
- Haul ’Em
- The Big One
- Link&Win
- Scale Up
- Mega Symbol
These modifiers can add more Bass Cash, improve collection or activate a separate bonus gameplay. Scale Up can build larger bonus wheels with bigger and better payouts. Link&Win is a hold-and-win style feature and The Big One adds larger fish. The Mega Symbol is another option that can give you the top payout of 6000x when it lands.
Bucket of Bonus Bass Free Spins
Bucket of Bonus Bass offers two separate free spins features. Multiplier Free Spins are available from the start. However, Sticky Free Spins only become available after 150 base game spins.
Multiplier Free Spins
Multiplier Free Spins use a growing collect multiplier. Each qualifying collection can increase the multiplier used during the feature. Therefore, later fisherman collections may become more valuable than those at the beginning of the round.
Sticky Free Spins
This bonus does not become available until you complete 150 base game spins. Before then, you can only activate Multiplier Free Spins. In Sticky Free Spins collected cash values can remain locked on the reels after being collected. These sticky values can then pay again when another fisherman lands.
Guaranteed Minimum Free Spins Wins
The final Lucky Level unlocks after 250 base game spins. It adds a guaranteed minimum result to both free spins features. This minimum win can range between 20x and 200x your bet. The exact guarantee depends on the free spins setup triggered by the game.
Bucket of Bonus Bass Feature Buy
Feature buys are unavailable at UK online casinos. UK players must trigger free spins naturally during the base game. But there is a feature buy in markets where bonus purchases are permitted. There is also no ante bet for improving the free spins chance.
Bucket of Bonus Bass FAQs
The best Bucket of Bonus Bass RTP is 96.01%. However, several UK casinos offer a lower 94.01% version. Always check the information menu before playing.
Bucket of Bonus Bass has a maximum win of 6,000x your total stake. Reaching this amount ends the current game round.
Express Collect activates when Bass Cash symbols land with a fisherman. The fisherman collects every visible cash value and pays their combined total.
Lucky Levels unlock extra features after completing certain numbers of base game spins. These include Bubble Pop, wheel boosters, additional fishermen and Sticky Free Spins.
There are two free spins features. Multiplier Free Spins use a growing collect multiplier, while Sticky Free Spins keep collected cash values on the reels.
Conclusion
Bucket of Bonus Bass takes the familiar fisherman collect setup and adds more progression type gameplay than you find in most other fishingslots. The collect feature give you regular opportunities to catch cash values. And the uncollected fish fill the bucket that can trigger the wheel bonus. The Lucky Levels are perhaps the main feature. It unlock Bubble Pop after only ten spins thus improving the base game and the later levels add wheel boosters, another fisherman and free spins mode.
However it it also perhaps the thing that is not that great as the best features thus require a long session. You need 150 spins to unlock the second free spins mode and 250 spins for the guaranteed minimum wins. So the game can feel a bit restricted when you first open it. The 96.01% version is acceptable, but avoid the 94.01% option whenever possible.
It is a good choice for players who like progression and feature-heavy fishing slots. However, if you want every feature available immediately you will likely find the opening of levels a bit frustrating.
