How to Play Fishin Frenzy Christmas Quick Guide
Fishin Frenzy Christmas is perfect for cosy winter evenings on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to get into that festive feeling:
- Set Your Bet: You can play with as little as £0.10 or go up to £100 per spin, which should satisfy almost all types of players.
- Pay Lines: The game has 10 pay lines. You win by lining up matching symbols on these lines, starting from the left.
- Spin: Press the spin button to start. Watch as the symbols land on the reels, hopefully, in a winning combination.
- Feel the Festive Spirit: Enjoy the holiday mood with the game’s Christmas-themed graphics and jolly music.
Keep an eye on the Fish and Fisherman symbols. The Fish come with cash values that in the base game get collected in the net up top and can randomly burst for a bonus pick-a-fish feature. Also, the Fisherman helps collect these fish cash values during the Free Spins feature.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
Fishin Frenzy Christmas comes with familiar symbols if you have played any other game in the series before. To land a win, you need to get a combination of three or more matching symbols on a pay line, starting from the leftmost reel. The more symbols you match, the bigger the payout. Here’s a breakdown of the game’s symbols:
- Low-Paying Symbols: The traditional playing card symbols (10, J, Q, K, and A) are the lower-paying symbols in the game. Payouts range from 0.5x – 10x.
- High-Paying Symbols: The higher-value symbols include bait boxes, life rings, golden fishing rods, fish symbols and pelicans. Pelicans are the highest paying symbol and only require at least 2 symbols for a payout. Payouts for high paying symbols range from 1x – 200x.
Festive Fishing
Each time a fish symbol appears, it’s collected in a net that you can see at the top of the reels. When it fills up the net can randomly burst, triggering a Pick a Fish feature. Here you can choose between three fish that are dropped down on hooks. Each fish can reveal a different bonus modifier or entrance to the bonus game.
- Free Games: This takes you directly to the Free Games Feature, starting with either 10, 15, or 20 Free Games.
- Cash Collect: Collects all the Fish Symbols in view for a direct cash payout.
- Cash Streak: Awards a hold and spin mini game on the Fish Symbols before collecting all the fish in view.
- Extra Fish: Adds more Fish Symbols to the reels, enhancing your chances of a win.
Special Symbols
Three special symbols are present in the game: Frankie our fisherman, scatter symbols and fish symbols.
Fisherman Wild Symbol
Only active during free spins, where he collects the cash fish symbols. The wild also substitutes for all other symbols in winning combinations. 5 fisherman wilds on a pay line pay out 200x.
Boat Scatter Symbol
As per usual the Boat acts as the scatter. Landing three or more Boat scatters gets you into the Free Spins bonus round. You get 10, 15, or 20 free spins based on the number of scatters landed.
Fish Cash Symbol
The Fish Symbol appears in seven different sizes, the cash values range from 2x – 50x, and is important for the free spins. In the base game they serve as regular paying symbols and are collected in the net above.
Fishin’ Frenzy Christmas Bonus Game
The bonus round in Fishin Frenzy Christmas is the main attraction of the game. It is activated by landing 3 or more scatter symbols. When you start the bonus round, you are awarded free spins. How many free spins depends on the number of scatter symbols landed:
- 3 Scatter Symbols: 10 Free Games
- 4 Scatter Symbols: 15 Free Games
- 5 Scatter Symbols: 20 Free Games
Pick A Fish
The Pick a Fish feature is a prequel to the free spins round. You get to pick a fish to reveal a bonus modifier. Upgrades you can get are:
- Cash Tag: Adds cash value to a high paying symbol, and can be reeled in too with fish.
- +Fish: Increases the number of fish symbols on the reels.
- +Fisherman: Adds extra fisherman wild symbols to the reels.
- Re-Spin: Triggers a re-spin for all symbols without a cash tag, this will continue until no new symbols with a cash tag land.
- +Collect: When you win a cash prize, it is collected multiple times.
- +Games: Awards additional free spins.
The Big Frozen Splash – Bonus Trail
During the free games, the Fisherman Wild Symbol collects all symbols with cash values in view when it lands. Additionally, fishermen are collected on the bonus trail, where you get more free spins and more bonus modifiers. The bonus round ends either when all spins have been played or if the maximum win is achieved at 2,500x.
