How to Play Pots of Gold Gold Blitz Free Demo Slot
When you first load up the slot you may be overwhelmed by all the bright colours. If you are a fan of Rainbow Riches style games, then this game will be right up your alley. 4096 pay lines spread zig zag across the 6X4 slot grid. Your objective is to land winning combinations from left to right, starting from reel 1 onwards.
To start, first, select a bet size from £0.20 – £50.00. Once you’ve set your stake, hit the spin button to spin the reels. When the reels stop, different symbols will appear on the screen. And if you match symbols on a pay line, then they will generate wins. Additionally, bonus game rounds can be landed from the base game if the correct symbols land on the reels. Moreover, fishing leprechauns can land too in the base game and can collect cash from golden trout symbols.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
In Gold Blitz there are 10 common symbols. Six low paying symbols are represented by card symbols (9, 10, J, Q, K and A). Four higher paying symbols exist too and these are the dragonflies, fishing flies, fishing jackets and tackle boxes. Additionally, there are rainbow trout symbols which serve both as common symbols and special symbols.
In order to generate a win, you need to match at least 3 adjacent low paying symbols on a pay line. Moreover, you only need 2 matching adjacent high paying symbols for a win. Low paying symbols pay out between 0.3x – 1.5x, for 3 -6 matching symbols, respectively. Higher paying symbols pay out between 0.2x – 5x. Fish symbols are the top symbols in the game and pay out between 2x – 10x.
Special Symbols
Additionally, there are 4 other special symbols: Leprechauns, Scatters, Jackpots and Wilds. These in addition to the fish symbols, serve a special purpose in the game.
Collect Symbol
The Collect symbol is a key component of the game, appearing on all reels in both the base game and the bonus rounds. When a Leprechaun appears, any Cash symbols or Jackpot symbols in view are collected.
Free Spins Symbol
The Scatter symbol is another important symbol. Landing at least 3 of these symbols triggers a payout, and also gives players the choice of two bonus rounds.
Jackpot Symbols
Jackpot symbols in Fishin Pots of Gold Gold Blitz can land you one of the Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega Jackpots. These symbols are worth 25x, 250x, and 2,500x the bet, respectively.
Wild Symbol
Mushroom wild symbols can substitute for any regular pay symbol. In the base game, wilds appear on reels 2 – 6, while in free spins, they land on reels 2, 3, and 4 and feature multipliers.
Gold Blitz Bonus Game Rounds
The bonus round is where the magic truly happens. To set off this exhilarating round, you’ll need to land a minimum of three scatter symbols anywhere on the reels.
- 3 scatter symbols awards a 1x win and a choice of 8 free spins or 2 Gold Blitz spins.
- 4 scatter symbols, awards a 2x win and a choice of 12 free spins or 3 Gold Blitz spins.
- 5 scatter symbols award a 3x win and a choice of 20 free spins or 5 Gold Blitz spins.
- 6 scatter symbols award a 5x win and a choice of 30 free spins or 7 Gold Blitz spins.
Free Spins
In the free spins bonus round, wild symbols carry win multipliers (2x,3x or 5x) and can land on reels 2, 3, or 4. When wins are formulated with the help of wild symbols, the payouts are then multiplied by the win multiplier. Connecting more than one wild symbol, on the same pay line, will increase the win even more. If you land more scatters in during the base round, then you will receive extra spins. Lastly, if a leprechaun lands at the same time as fish symbols, then he will reel in the fish’s cash prize values and add them to your wins total.
Gold Blitz
In the Gold Blitz bonus round there are no symbols. A leprechaun is guaranteed on each spin and the reels spin to reveal cash prizes. They continue to spin to reveal more prizes and only once new prizes are not revealed will the spin come to an end and all cash prizes are added to your wins. So, it’s a hold & win style bonus game. What’s great about this bonus round is that you potentially have better chances at landing one of the jackpot prize symbols for a big win.
Bonus Buy Feature
For those who prefer to cut to the chase, Fishin Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz offers a bonus buy option. You can choose between 3 options: 75x, 120x and 150x your bet. Each option will trigger the bonus round with 4, 5, or 6 scatters, respectively. Once triggered, you can choose between Free Spins or Gold Blitz Spins, just like in the base game. When buying 4 or 5 scatters, there’s a chance for extra scatters to land too.

Fishin Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz King Millions is a slot for those that love hunting for the Jackpot. So if you are already a fan of the Irish theme and slot mechanics and want to try to land that million-pound win this is the slot for you. If you are not hunting for the progressive jackpot you are better of with the previous titles due to higher RTP.
Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz Ultimate Fever Boost
Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz Ultimate Fever Boost expands the layout to 6 reels. This means you get 6,400 ways to win instead of the previous 4,096-way setup. It adds the Bonus Collect Meter, Blitz Boost, and Fever Boost. RTP is 96%, volatility is high, and the maximum win stays at 5,000x your bet, with potential bets of £0.20 to £50.
The core gameplay still revolves around Collect symbols landing on reels 1 and 6 to collect cash and Jackpot symbols. Money symbol values are from 0.5x to 20x. And jackpot symbols up to 2,500x. There is also a Cash Multiplier in the base game can build up to 5x. In the free spins it can go as high as 10x. But note, that multiplier only applies when a Collect lands to collect the values.
The best addition to the slot is the Bonus Collect Meter. You can build it by landing 2 scatters on reels 2, 3, or 4 without triggering the feature, while 3 or 4 scatters fill it in one go. Once you get into the bonus you can pick between different free spins options. When you trigger with 3 scatters or fill the meter you have a choice of:
- 8 free spins with 60 Cash and Jackpot symbols per reel
- 12 free spins with 40 symbols per reel
- 15 free spins with 20 symbols per reel.
If you trigger with 4 scatters, the choices are 12, 15, or 20 free spins. Only special symbols appear in the bonus round, so no regular payline wins here. It is all about Collects, jackpots, re-triggers, and getting that multiplier up.
There is also a Respin Feature when Collect symbols land on reels 1 and 6 without any Cash or Jackpot symbols and without triggering free spins. When this happen reels 1 and 6 stay locked, and the middle reels spin again with only blanks, Cash, and Jackpot symbols, you are guaranteed at least one prize.
Blitz Boost lets you double your base bet to double the chance of landing Collect symbols, or pay 10x your base bet to guarantee a Collect on the spin.
Fever Boost also doubles the base bet, but changes the reels so only Scatter, Cash, Collect, Cash Multiplier Increase, and Jackpot symbols can appear.
And yes, there is a Feature Buy too, with prices ranging from 50x up to 1,306.4x your bet depending on the free spins option and starting multiplier. As per usual there is no buy feature available for UK players, but for others this feature is available.
Compared to the earlier Gold Blitz games, Ultimate Fever Boost is one of the busier entries in the series. The wider reel setup, the meter build-up, and the ability to lean into special-symbol-only spins give it a bit more going on than the older versions. So if you already like the leprechaun collect mechanic, this is a decent upgrade.
