This already sets it apart from most fishing slots. The RTP is 95.85% for the base-game, which is solid, though bonus buy and hot bet feature is slightly over 96%. Volatility is on the higher side, meaning wins can be a bit hit-and-miss, but the potential is there with a 10,000x max payout.

Winning Combos & Payouts
Fishing Pro: Reel Collect does not use the usual paylines system that you have in most slots. Instead, it is all about the collection mechanic. Prize symbols come with values and colours that are then collected by special symbols with the same colour. The most potential comes from high-value symbols and landing the best collector, the Trawler.
Prize Symbols: Fish, lobsters, and mermaids each with different values. Some can get you very decent payouts at higher tiers.
Symbol Tiers: A higher tier mean bigger payout and you get three levels: green 0.1x to 0.5x, red 1x to 4x and yellow 5x to 30x is the highest one.
Jackpot Symbols: Mermaid symbols can have jackpot values of up to 2,000x your bet when collected.
Special Symbols
Fishing Pro: Reel Collect gameplay is all about the special symbols. Which land in the top row and affect the grid below.
Collector Symbols
There are four versions of collectors: Fishing Rod collects specific symbols, Lobster Cage collects in a pattern, Net collects adjacent symbols and the Trawler collects all prize symbols on the grid. Collectors also come in different tiers.
Scatter Symbol
Scatter symbols are what trigger the Free Spins. And you need to land 3 Scatters to trigger and you then get 10 Free Spins. The scatters also add to the Level Up system in the base game.
Prize Symbols
These have cash values and are collected by Collector symbols. They come in different tiers and can give you potential big wins when combined with better collectors. The highest being the top Jackpot Mermaid symbol worth 2000x your bet.
Fishing Pro: Reel Collect Free Spins & Features
The bonus round and progression system that give you a little more depth than your typical fishing slot. To trigger the free spins landing 3 Scatters which gives you 10 Free Spins. During the Free Spins feature all levels are unlocked and multipliers are active.
The collector potential is also increased and the main thing to look for here in the free spins is the Multiplier Trail, which can top out at 10x. You progress through this trail by landing Trawlers. For each 4 trawlers you collect you also get 10 more free spins.
Level Up System
The Level Up feature unlocks new mechanics during gameplay and adds progression to the base game. This is nice to see and is something you do not see all that often in fishing slots.
- Level 1: Unlocks Yellow Tier Collectors
- Level 2: Activates Bait and Bomb features
- Level 3: Expands the grid with an extra row
Bait and Bomb Features
These are random upgrades that can help you land bigger wins.
- Bait: Adds extra symbols to the grid
- Bomb: Upgrades symbol tiers for higher values
Bonus Buy & Ante Features
The game includes Bonus Buy and boosted bet options, but these may not be available in the UK. Hot Bet (increased bonus chance) and Bonus Buy options up to 400x.
Conclusion
Fishing Pro: Reel Collect do not use the typical fishing slot gameplay formula. Instead of the wild collections mechanics you mostly get you have a more complex system with different collectors, levels, and expanding reels. And you can see that as both a strength and a weakness. If you enjoy trying something new this game can perhaps scratch that itch. Look for that Trawler mechanic with is likely the best way to reach that 10,000x max win potential.
But if you are more into classic fishing slots like Big Bass Bonanza then this might feel a bit over-complicated for what it is. No normal paylines and layered mechanics can take some getting used to.
