How To Play Lure of Fortune Free Demo
How To Play Lure of Fortune Quick Guide
Most casinos will allow Lure of Fortune free play. You just need to verify your age first by creating an account and passing the credit check. Playing Lure of Fortune in demo mode will help you to understand how the game and bonus features works. This is important as the game comes in 3 volatility modes. So, understanding the benefits of playing in each game mode can be helpful before spending real money.
As mentioned, the game features cluster pays and not standard pay lines, we’ve grown accustomed to with other fishing slots. So, getting wins in this slot game relies on forming clusters of symbols. On the right of your screen is a win multiplier ladder with each game symbol. You need to have at least 4 of the same symbol in a cluster for a win. When a winning cluster is formed, the winning symbols will cascade to reveal new symbols. Furthermore, the multiplier of that winning symbol will be doubled on the ladder.
- Setting Your Bet: Pick a bet from £0.10 to £200 and select your game mode (Medium, High, Extreme).
- Starting the Game: Hit the Spin button.
- Forming Clusters: Match four or more identical symbols horizontally or vertically to create winning clusters.
- Bonus Features: Multiplier Upgrade, which increases the value of your wins with each consecutive win. You also have the Bonus Game, which is triggered by landing three scatter symbols.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
In Lure of Fortune, winning combinations are formed by symbol clusters across the 5×5 slot grid. There are 9 common symbols in this game (4 low value, 4 medium value and 1 high value). Theoretically, the biggest cluster you can achieve is 25 of the same symbol, filling up the entire grid. And such a perfect cluster pays out between 11x – 30x, depending on the winning symbol.
- Low-Paying Symbols: Four different coloured shells replace card ranks as the low paying symbols. Payouts range from 0.2x – 11x.
- Medium-Paying Symbols: Worms, fish and octopi make up the medium value symbols. Payputs range from 0.4x – 22x.
- High-Paying Symbol: Sea captains are the top paying symbol in the game. To make them stand out, they have a golden background. Sea captain cluster payouts range from 1x – 30x.
Special Symbols
In addition to our 9 common symbols, there is also one special symbol: Scatters. Landing three scatter symbols will enter you into the hold and win bonus game.
Lure of Fortune Multiplier Upgrade
Each symbol type starts with a base multiplier of 1x. When a given symbol is in winning clusters, their multipliers will double with each win. Depending on the game mode you have chosen, the maximum multipliers can reach 32x, 64x, or 128x. After a non-winning spin, all multipliers reset back to the base x1. So, your goal is to achieve a long winning sequence of cascading wins.
Lure of Fortune Bonus Game
Landing three scatter symbols awards a hold and win bonus game. The 5×5 slot grid is replaced with a 6×9 grid and you have 3 re-spins. At the start of the bonus game, five multiplier symbols are shown at the bottom of reels 1 to 5. On reel 6 there is a multiplier ladder, which affects the symbols on the same row at the end of the bonus round. During each re-spin, pufferfish symbols can land carrying a cash value. Every time a new symbols lands, your re-spins are reset. When you no new symbols land and you used up all of your re-spins, then the bonus round ends and total win is tallied up.
Special Symbols in the Bonus Game reel 1-6
Some of these special symbols will only appear on reel 6 and can affect all symbols, not just 1 reel.
- Fish: Shows a multiplier and takes the position above it, pushing any existing symbol up.
- Hammer: Pushes all symbols on its reel up one position, also available as a persistent symbol.
- Payer: Assigns a value to all symbols on its reel, also available as a persistent symbol.
- Doubler: Doubles the value of all symbols on its reel.
- Spawner: Copies a symbol and its value, placing it below the original, also available as a persistent symbol.
- Golden Hammer: Moves all symbols up one position on reel 6.
- Bonus Symbol: Changes the re-spins counter to four instead of three.
Lure of Fortune FAQ
RTP (Return to Player) for Lure of Fortune is set at 96.10%. For those opting to use feature buy modes, the RTP slightly increases to 96.50%.
Max wins in Lure of Fortune vary by volatility mode: 5,000x in Medium, 20,000x in High, and up to 50,000x in Extreme mode.
Once landing 3 bonus symbols, you enter the bonus round. It’s a hold and win bonus game across a 6×9 slot grid. You receive a life meter of 3 re-spins that reset after each new symbol landing on the grid. There are also bonus modifiers that can enhance your payouts.
Conclusion
Lure of Fortune is actually a very good game. Firstly, you can play in 3 different volatility modes. So, if you are looking for frequent wins with decent payouts then you can opt for medium or high volatility modes. Whereas, if you are a thrill seeker and enjoy the allure of colossal wins, then extreme mode is for you. Surprisingly, with such big max win potential on offer, this game does not share the same popularity as other big max win slots. We’re not sure why, but maybe because it doesn’t offer anything new. The base game is a re-skin of Banana Town and the bonus game uses the same mechanics as Money Train. So, maybe players just prefer playing those games instead.
Overall, we think this game is seriously underrated. So, it should be shown some more love. If you want to give it a try then on over to one of our recommended casinos.
