You could say it’s a copy of Gameburger Studios’ Fishin Pots of Gold series. So, is this all rainbows and leprechauns or is it a quagmire of mixed signals? How To Play Plenty O’ Fish Quick Guide
We’ve come to admire many of the fishing slots released by Blueprint over the years. Ranging from Frankie and his fish companions to their friendly Crabbin crustaceans, there’s never been an Irish slot before. Playing Plenty O’ Fish is an adventure that’s easy to play, making it suitable for beginners and intermediate players. Wins are awarded based on the 4,096 ways mechanism. Matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel will trigger wins. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Bet: Start by selecting your bet amount, ranging from £0.10 – £25 per spin. Remember to always manage your bankroll according to your strategy.
- Spin: Once your bet is set, hit the spin button to start the game.
- Special Features: The Cash Collect feature is central to the game’s mechanics. Cash symbols appear on all reels, and landing them along with a Cash Collect symbol on the leftmost and rightmost reels pay out their values.
The free spins feature is activated by landing 3 or more scatter symbols. This not only awards free spins but also introduces the potential for upgrades during the bonus rounds.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
In Plenty O Fish, symbols and their combinations play a pivotal role in your quest for Irish treasures. There are a total of 11 common symbols and 4 special symbols. You need to matc hat least 3 symbols, adjacently, on a pay line. And the symbols need to start matching from the left most reel onwards. Since there are 6 reels, the highest value payouts per symbol are 6 of a kind.
- Low-Paying Symbols: Card ranks (9 – A) serve as six low-value symbols. Payouts range from 0.3x – 1.5x.
- High-Paying Symbols: Boots, hooks, tackle boxes, fishing reels and a pots of gold are 5 premium symbols. Unlike low paying symbols, you only need 2 matching symbols for a win. So, payouts range from 0.2x – 5x.

Plenty O Fish Free Spins Bonus Game
The bonus round in Plenty O’ Fish is your opportunity to rake in significant wins. Here’s what you need to know about triggering and playing this feature. You need to land 3 or more scatter symbols anywhere on the reels to enter the bonus round. Your number of scatter symbols determines an amount of free spins awarded. If you land 6 scatters, then you receive 25 free spins.
Once inside the bonus round, coin symbols become more valuable. Because each coin contributes to potentially closing the treasure chest above the reels, triggering one of the bonus modifiers. There are 5 possible modifiers you can unlock:
- Boost: Increases the value of Fish Cash symbols collected.
- Respin: Offers a chance for reels with Cash symbols to respin.
- Gold Collect: Allows multiple collections of Cash symbols.
- Jackpots: A chance to win one of the four jackpots, Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega, offering payouts from 15x to 2,500x your bet.
- Additional Free Spins: Landing more scatter symbols during the bonus round can award extra free spins.
The bonus round ends once players have used all free spins or achieved the maximum win of 5,000x. What’s great is that once your bonus has ended, any unspent modifiers will carry on in the base game. Compared to other recently launched fishing slots from Blueprint Gaming, this slot does not feature a bonus trail in the bonus round. Instead there is a treasure chest which can unlock new features.

Conclusion
Plenty O Fish by Blueprint Gaming is a new twist on usual Fishin’ Frenzy and Crabbin for Cash games. The Irish plot twist sees a change from seas and bass to rivers, rainbows and trout. A 5,000x max win isn’t too high, but is still good compared to other games in the genre. Overall, Plenty O’ Fish is a solid game, but there is nothing new here that we haven’t seen before. Yet, the game is still worth your while.
