How To Play Pulled From The Deep Quick Guide
Since this game is packed with different bonus features and reel expansions, it’s wise to get more acquainted with the game first. To do so, we recommend signing up at PlayOJO Casino. Once your account is created, you can then play for free with the Pulled From the Deep demo game to learn how it works. Afterwards, make a deposit and play for real money.
- Set Your Bet: Betting goes from £0.20 to £40 with no bonus boost enabled. If you enable the Bonus Boost feature you can bet all the way up to £120. We suggest starting without the Bonus Boost if you are new to the slot to get your bearings before playing around with the bonus boost.
- Spin the Reels: Press the button to place the bet and start spinning. You need to get 3 of the same symbols in a row on a pay line for a win, starting from the leftmost reel.
- Special Features: Bonus Boost costs 3x your bet. When activated the slot reels expand to 6×5. Fishy Free spins bonus round is triggered by landing 3 scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. You also have the Ultranudge feature that activates on all wins and nudges the reels down 1 position. Nudging continues until there are no more wins. So, it works similar to cascading wins in other fishing slots. Lastly, you can also win instant cash and jackpot prizes by landing 3 or more fish symbols.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
To keep your bankroll alive between larger payouts, you have regular paying symbols. These are divided into low and high paying symbols in Pulled from the Deep. In total there are 8 common symbols. You need match at least 3 of the same symbol from left to right, adjacently, on a pay line, to form a win.
Low-Paying Symbols: Card symbols (J, Q, K, A) are the lowest-paying in the game. Payouts range from 0.1x – 1x.
High-Paying Symbols: Pipes, life rings, boats and lighthouses are high paying symbols. Payouts range from 0.2x – 5x.
Special Symbols
In addition to common symbols you also have 4 special symbols: Wilds, Fish, Creatures from the Deep and Scatters. Fish symbols and creatures from the deep symbols act together. Whereas, wilds and scatters are not connected to each other.
Wild Symbol
Fisherman Wilds substitute for all regular symbols and also for fishy cash symbols. They also trigger the Ultrnudge feature if part of a win, in the base game.
Fishy Cash / Creatures of the Deep
Fishy Cash symbols carry cash values, which can be paid out if you land at least 3 of them on the reels. Otherwise, they work as regular pay symbols. If a creature of the deep lands in a Fishy Cash win, then you will get the associated jackpot prize too.
Anchor Bonus Symbol
Landing 3 or more anchor scatter symbols, anywhere on the reels, will trigger the Fishy Free Spins bonus round.
Base Game Features
In the base game of Pulled From The Deep Ultra Nudge you have several features you can trigger or activate.
UltraNudge: Ultranudge feature is triggered automatically when you get a winning pay line that has a fisherman wild in it. When you do, it will payout your win and then nudge all symbols down one space. If you get another win, then it will nudge again. This continues until there are no more winning lines.
Bonus Boost: Costing 3x your current bet, it expands the reels to a 6×5 grid. Thus, giving you more spaces to land scatter symbols. Moreover, when you land enough scatters in Bonus Boost mode, then your bonus round will start on a 6X6 grid.
Deep Water Riches: This is your fish collection bonus feature. Although there is no fisherman or fishing trawler reeling in fish, you still collect cash values from fish and deep sea creatures’ symbols. To generate a fishy win, you need to land at least 3 fish symbols on the reels. Moreover, you can also land Creatures from the Deep symbols that carry jackpot prizes. There are 4 jackpots to be won: Mini (100x), Minor (200x), Major (1,000x) and Grand (5,000x).
