How To Play Razor Shark Free Demo Slot
Razor Shark is available on both mobile and desktop devices, and it is a simple game to learn.
- As always, to get going, start by selecting your bet from £0.10 – £100. Once the bet is set, spin the reels to begin this shark-infested adventure.
- As the reels spin your objective is to land at least 3 matching adjacent symbols on a pay line. Moreover, watch out for seaweed blocks. Because they trigger the Nudge and Reveal feature.
Winning Combinations & Payouts
In total there are 8 regular symbols in the game. Razor Shark symbols are divided into high and low-value categories.
High value symbols are different shark species (Tiger sharks, Hammerheads, Whale Sharks and Makos). They pay out between 0.4x – 25x. Great Whites are wild symbols and are also the top paying symbol. If you land 5 wilds on a pay line, then you will get a 50x payout. There are also 4 low paying symbols: scuba tanks, swim fins, masks and cameras. Low paying symbols payout from 0.1x – 2.5x.
During the game, seaweed mystery stacks can appear triggering a nudge and reveal sequence. This prolongs the game round by nudging the seaweed blocks one spot down, until no more seaweed blocks are in view. New seaweed block may appear from the top to keep the round going.
When they land they act as mystery symbols. So, they will either display a common symbol of choice or they will reveal golden shark symbols. You can land mystery stacks on all reels simultaneously. So, if a premium symbol is chosen, then you can land some big wins.
Special Symbols
The Razor Shark slot comes with a set of 3 special symbols of note: Wilds, Scatters and Golden Sharks.
Great White Shark Wild Symbol
The Great White Shark acts as the wild symbol, substituting for all other symbols except the scatter to form winning combinations.
Mine Scatter Symbol
Scatters come in the form of sea mines. Landing enough scatter symbols will trigger the Free Spins bonus game, with a starting win multiplier.
Golden Shark
When seaweed mystery stacks land, Golden Sharks may revel instant wins or scatter symbols. Instant wins in the bonus round are multiplied by the win multiplier.
Razor Shark Features
This slot, Razor Shark, comes with several base-game featuresadded to it.
- Mystery Stacks: These are stacks of up to four seaweed symbols that can land anywhere on the reels. When these stacks appear, they activate the Nudge & Reveal feature.
- Nudge & Reveal: This feature nudges the Mystery Stacks down one spot, and they reveal either game symbols or Golden Shark symbols.
- Golden Shark Feature: When Golden Shark symbols land they either give coin wins or scatter symbols.
Razor Shark Bonus Game
To reach the bonus round you need to land 3 sea mine scatters. Similar to Tiki Tumble, the bonus game used the same slots mechanics. You have infinite free spins in the bonus round and a win multiplier that increases on every nudge. Your bonus game starts off with a win multiplier of 1 and some mystery stacks.
One free spin is a basically a nudge of the reels. When this happens, your mystery stacks move down one spot and the win multiplier increases by 1. As we mentioned before, these mystery stacks can reveal instant wins, scatters or paying symbols. So, wins can be accumulated in two ways.
Firstly, you can form winning combinations with the mystery symbols. Or you can land golden shark symbols for instant wins. When wins land they are then multiplied by the current win multiplier.
Among the instant win symbols is a rare 1000 valued coin. If you land this with a high multiplier, then you can achieve the 50,000x max win. But do note, that on record a player has registered an 85,000x win on this game.
Razor Shark Jackpots
Razor Shark Jackpots is another entry in Push Gaming’s Razor Shark series, and this time the big addition is obvious from the name. The game keeps the same underwater shark theme and familiar 5×4 setup with 20 paylines, but it adds a new jackpot layer on top of the classic Mystery Symbol and Nudge & Reveal action.
The main gameplay still feels close to the original Razor Shark. Mystery Symbols can land on the reels and trigger the Nudge & Reveal feature. These symbols then open to show paying symbols or Golden Mystery Symbols. When a Golden Mystery Symbol appears, it can trigger the Razor Reveal feature, where the position spins through different prize possibilities. This can reveal instant prizes, bonus symbols, or a Nudge Up symbol.
The new part is the Shark Pot jackpot feature above the reels. When this activates, players can collect tokens toward one of five jackpot prizes: Mini, Minor, Maxi, Major, or Mega. These jackpots are based on the selected base bet, with prizes worth 10x, 25x, 50x, 500x, and 5,000x respectively. So, this is more of a fixed jackpot-style feature rather than a massive progressive jackpot that grows across casinos.
Razor Shark Jackpots also includes a Free Games feature, triggered by landing 3 or more scatter symbols. This can happen naturally on the reels or through the Razor Reveal feature. The game has medium volatility, which makes it a little less brutal on paper than the original high-volatility Razor Shark. However, with jackpot prizes, mystery reveals, and an official highest observed win of 11,007.70x, it still has plenty of bite.
Overall, Razor Shark Jackpots looks like a more jackpot-focused version of the original rather than a complete reinvention. If you like Razor Shark but want a version with more fixed prize targets to chase, then this sequel is worth checking out.

Conclusion
When it comes to shark slots, there is probably no better fishing slot game than Razor Shark. Since its release, a few years ago, it’s gathered a huge following among gamblers. And this is mainly due to its massive big win potential. Videos circulating on Youtube, of streamers landing big wins on this game, started the craze.
Since, the early days of the online casino industry, nudge slots have been popular. For example, NetEnt’s Jackpot 6000 was a particularly popular slot game over the years. But now, we’ve got great graphics, great white sharks and huge win potential. So, what’s not to like! If you haven’t played Razor Shark yet, then give it a go.
