About Elk Studios
Founded in 2013, ELK Studios is a Swedish game developer known for creating high-quality fun casino games. Their motto, “We build great casino games,” is reflected in their let’s say “innovative” portfolio, which has pirate parrots in Pirots to cyber dogs in the Nitropolis series.
ELK Studios released their first slot game, The Lab, in 2014, which had some creative modifiers. The company expanded by obtaining a UKGC license in 2015 and an MGA license soon after. In 2017, their game Wild Toro won the EGR Game of the Year award.
They were also named one of Sweden’s fastest-growing tech companies in 2018 and released the successful Nitropolis series in 2020. Later on, in 2021, they were acquired by Scientific Games, which gave them access to the US market.
